With over 40 years of experience in financial coaching and specialist procurement, Elaine Main is the founder of Expert Risk and Business Solutions. She supports business owners and professionals — particularly in high-risk sectors like Oil & Gas—with expert advice on sourcing, negotiating, and placing niche insurance and financial protection..

Elaine’s approach is deeply personal. She and her husband Robert raised four sporty children while Robert worked around the globe as a subsea engineer. Both Elaine and Robert lost their parents to cancer, and Elaine herself is a cancer survivor—having come through major surgery and treatment with renewed purpose and strength.

These life experiences shape everything Elaine does. She knows how important it is to protect what you’ve built, provide for your family, and plan ahead. Her advice goes beyond numbers—it’s about legacy, resilience, and peace of mind.
